The past few days have been alright for me! I have new Pastry Cat Stickers on my Etsy Store, making more progress on my commission art, and even started a RedBubble store to make T-shirts!
Now you can choose between the new Large Chocolate Donut Cat sticker or the Original Strawberry Donut Cat Sticker! There’s also a 4 inch by 6 inch Sticker Pack of all the Pastry Cats so far for your smaller sticker needs! I still have a few Bread Cats Stickers in stock as well, so grab them while you can!
I’m doing what I can to scrape up the funds to make prints of the rest of the Pastry Cat Art so stick around for more news in the future.
It was suggested to me to have some shirts of my Pastry Cats on Redbubble, so I now have a few available and for sale right now!
In the future, I’ll have some of my other designs like my Hipster Medusa, Pigball and more if there’s anything else I want to design. I can’t say there’s a lot of my art that I think I could sell but I’m persevering to find value in it.
As you know, conventions have been cancelled due to life getting in the way, but there are a few virtual conventions that I’ve agreed to showcase my work at!
From August 10th to August 15th, I’ll also be participating in a virtual artist alley for Aurora Public Library CAPE CON 2020!
On October 24, 2020, I’ll be a virtual vendor for the Virtual HPL FanFest 2020! I’ll be doing an 9am CST stream on my Youtube Channel about making Mini-Comics so mark your calendars!
Many things have been picking up for me where I’m busy again. I’ve gotten pulled away from working on my Blackmask game but I’ve been doing a few pieces of artwork related to it such as making art for Captain Rhodes the Sea Wolf and Nad Greenbrush the Tanuki Bandit.
I still worry that these designs won’t matter until the story is more solid, I still fight with myself about if my art or ideas would have any worth. I frequently question if my interests are even interesting to anyone else, so I’m at that point where the honeymoon phase of having a big creative project, where it gets boring and slow. It probably won’t click until I have more of a playable demo going, whenever that happens.
Between that, I’m still working on Flawless Extra-Ordinary Super Heroes. Pages are still going, so I’m still busy with that. These illustrations are easier on me, so I should be able to breeze through them fairly well.
I’m also in the process of working on some promo art for the Early Access game, Furs of Fury. It’s a Warcraft 3 inspired RTS game with fantasy animals, which is clearly in my wheelhouse, so I’m pretty excited to work on it!
So far it’s a big illustration, but I want to calm down and take things one step at a time. Who knows, I might have more stuff to work on in the future.
All this art stuff along with my day job slightly returning means that I have a lot on my plate. I worry about if I can handle it, but I need to remember to take this one step at a time and to take actual breaks as I go or I’ll go crazy.
