This week’s sketchbook has stuff I drew at conventions I went to over the past few weeks. I’ll talk more about the convention times later.

Here’s sketches in a new sketchbook. These toon proportions are rubbish but I am looking back at drawng humans again. I tilt to a realistic style when I draw humans so I wanted to take my approach my animal designs to human characters.

Other Sketches I drew at Capricon 44. It was a slower show and I had little to do besides doodle. Sometime I don’t know what I need to do to drum up activity. There’s only so much carnival barking I can try before I just get tired and bored.

I keep falling into this trap of making scanned sketches instead of finishing the art I already have or pushing for more illustration. To tell you the truth, I character design for practice without much though or story to them. I can argue, I’m not actually designing anything but doodling crap that’s in my head to relax after an exhausting day of life crap. I keep doing this to myself.
